In the presence of God 5 is a memory painting. I prayed ofr guidance , a voice to communicate what the Lord wants so my hands do his work. As god always makes incredible beauty , I named the piece aspirationally to remind myself of where my gifts come from. I am thankful to be able to paint and bring beauty and joy into the world. This is composed of a succession of abstract bold strokes that multiply and evolve in their own direction. on top of each layer , the painting subconsciously paints itself as it echoes the natural low country pace that has filled my joyful heart. I am so grateful to live here in South carolina on the coast.
